Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection Review

Yep – another long overdue Biotherm review! After the unbelievable results I witnessed using the Biotherm Aquasource Skin Perfection 24h Moisturizer (I’m on my second jar), I decided to try their eye cream (more of an eye serum?) from the same series to see if I could get rid of the puffiness and dehydration lines under my eyes. In fact, I’ve been using the Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection for 6 months now. Without further ado…

Price

The Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection (15ml / 0.5 fl. oz) costs S$67 at Biotherm counters and US$31 on the Biotherm website.

First Impressions

lluminous - Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection Review

Appearance: The Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection is a clear, transparent serum that comes in a sleek tube, and is dispensed through their “360° hydra-massager”, which comprises 3 metal roller balls.

Scent: Odorless – I like!

Texture: I do like the triple-ball roller as it feels nice and cold on my skin, and it massages the eye area very gently without pulling at my eye area while I am applying the serum. I still pat the serum in with my fingers though, and it is extremely light and non-greasy, absorbing into my skin within seconds.

After using the Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection for about 2 weeks, my dehydration lines disappeared! The blood circulation around my eye area has also improved, as my dark circles have improved dramatically. I really do think this is the best eye cream for dark circles. However, the puffiness of my eyes still remains, albeit a less severe than before (probably due to my bad sleeping habits rather than lack of effectiveness of the serum).

Conclusion

I think the Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection has done a wonderful job in caring for my eye area considering that I regularly wear contact lenses and sleep late. What I love most about it is the light and non-greasy formula, as most under eye creams or serums I’ve used are either too heavy or not effective.

The Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection may not be rich or moisturizing enough for those with older or drier skin. However, I think it’s definitely worth the price and still worth a shot!
